Calendar #4 : Countdown
One less day until Christmas,
One less day spent waiting for the D-Day to come.
The miracle is coming near, my dear,
And the wishes are now upon us.
Above our heads, the clock ticks and reminds us
Of the time that has already passed,
And the time that is still to go.
And yet, like children, we wait for Father Christmas to
come.
In the end, we always see tomorrow as better then today,
We all go to places and jobs we don't necessarily like,
Friday is better than Monday, and this bitter feeling,
Down our spine, is not ready to go away.
But this time, it's a different kind of countdown.
It's not a countdown where we just wait and sit around,
Not enjoying the present moment. This time, we are
Taking pleasure in every second, in excitement, in joy.
Sometimes, we all need to be reminded that.
