Calendar #1 : Snow
Little dribbles of snow,
On the windowsill.
Before you even know it,
It's the beginning of winter.
Going outside with some friends,
Doing snow battles, building snowmen,
Doing the angels in the fresh snow,
And being children once again.
Because when you're an adult, you'll see
The snow as something that prevents you from
Going to work, something negative.
But snow was, when you were a child, a wonder.
The wonder of seeing something so little
Falling from the sky, instead of the rain,
And still, that made this little white coat
The white coat of winter.
And the sound of the upcoming festive season.
