Hannibal, S3 Ep8

Hi everybody, Mary here.

So, here's the review for the eight episode in the third series of Hannibal ! It's The Great Red Dragon ! So here it comes ! (To burn your heart !)

The Great Red Dragon

So, the three words I have chosen for this episode are :

- Prison : Hannibal has now spent three years in jail, and yet, for Alana and Chilton, it's not enough. Chilton has written "a book of lies" and still manages to get away with it. The jail is quite comfortable for an inmate, me says. Anyways, we can see Chilton (was it Chilton ? I don't remember) eat with Hannibal, and Alana going to see him while in his cell. No one as visited him for now (I think). But will this stay like this forever ? I don't think so. (Prays for a little Hannigram to happen, like, Will helping him to escape or something like that.)

- The Tooth Fairy : a new killer has arrived, and everybody wants to catch him. Jack wants Will to go back to work and try to catch him since he apparently only kills families during the full moon. However, Will hasn't been using his gift lately so he doesn't think he will manage to make it. Until then, Jack tries to investigate, until Will, under the pressure, decides to go back and reconstructs the crime. But will he survive being under the pressure of his gift once again ? Or will he crumble like his first try at work for the FBI ? Only time will tell...

- Wife : as we can see, WIll now had a wife, who has child from a previous union. His life seems to be better, but as he goes back to work, will she accept it and face the Will who gets all the criminals in his head ? (I seriously don't know anything about her, so please don't spoil me, thanks a lot !) The wife and the son represent a new life. But what about the other characters ? Have they managed to get a new life after Hannibal decided to methodically destroy all of them one by one ?

Overall impression : A very nice episode to introduce us to the Silence of the Lambs arc, and now, what will happen ? We'll see in the next episode. (Crosses fingers for Hannigram.)
